Winners

Winners never quit and quitters never win. Winners are those who get going when the going gets rough and tough. They hold on tenaciously to their dream, they labour with an eye on the goal, they strive lawfully so that they can obtain the crown, keep the body under so as not to be tripped over by indulgence.

The first foundational stone of success is becoming who we are meant to be, fulfilling the purpose why God created us (Isaiah 43:21; Ecclesiastes 12:13; 1 Peter 2:9). If this is not the case, success is not truly success from God’s own perspective. What success can be attributed to the fire-fighter that saves a wooden chair from a house while all the residents of the house burnt to ashes?

If the first and primary purpose of our existence is not fulfilled, all success is useless from God’s viewpoint.

The principles of success and the secrets of winning are revealed in God’s word if we care enough to search them out (Joshua 1:8; Matthew 6:33; 2 Chronicles 26:5).
